Planning it in DenBuddy starts a new den meeting with this activity already on the agenda, so you can add an opening, a closing and whatever else the night needs.

How to run it

Round 1: play kickball/tag by the rules. Round 2: leader removes a rule — let it get ridiculous.

Round 3: the den writes three rules of its own and plays that. Discuss why rules exist and what

a good sport looks like when losing.

What it counts toward

Tiger Team Tiger

  • 1 Play a game with your den, or family members, that has a set of rules. Discuss why rules are important to the game you are playing.
  • 3 Play a game that requires at least two teams with your den, or two other family members. Afterwards discuss what it means to be part of a team and what makes a good team member.

Build the rest of the meeting around it

Start a meeting in DenBuddy with this activity on the agenda, then let the planner fill the gaps with what your Scouts still need.

Free for one den. No credit card. Works with Scoutbook Plus.
