Den meeting planner
Build the agenda from the requirements your Scouts still need, with block times, materials and a coverage meter that tells a full meeting from a busy one.
Your roster and advancement, without retyping any of it
DenBuddy imports your den from Scoutbook Plus through a Chrome extension that reads the pages you are already signed in to. Your roster and advancement history land in DenBuddy in a couple of minutes, your Scouting password is never involved, and nothing is ever written back to Scoutbook.
Free for one den, forever. Reads always; writes only when you press Send.
Four steps, all of them in your own browser. Nothing runs on a schedule in the background, and nothing happens while you are signed out.
Enough to make the gap analysis true, and nothing that DenBuddy has no use for.
Reading is automatic. Writing never is: it takes a press of Send, on a screen that shows you the exact rows first. The trust posture is the product, not a policy page.
After a meeting, DenBuddy stages a CSV of approved completions in Scoutbook's own column order: BSA Member ID, First Name, Last Name, Advancement Type, Advancement, Version, Date Completed, Approved, Awarded. You download it and upload it to Scoutbook yourself. Rows that cannot be exported are listed with the reason, usually a missing BSA member ID.
No. You sign in to Scoutbook Plus in your own browser, exactly as you always do. The only credential DenBuddy holds is your DenBuddy login.
Not in both directions, and we try not to use the word. Data comes in from Scoutbook Plus when you ask for it. Data goes out only as a CSV that a human uploads.
The import can break, and we would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. The extension is updated when the site changes, and your DenBuddy data keeps working in the meantime because it is already in DenBuddy.
No. The extension can only read what your own Scoutbook account can see, and DenBuddy scopes what you import to the dens you lead.

A per-Scout, per-requirement view of the whole den, with Bobcat first and a clear answer to the only question that matters in April: who is ready for rank.
Publish the meeting and DenBuddy hands you a check-in link and QR code. Parents mark their Scout present. Nobody signs in, and no Scout has an account.
Describe the night you have and Akela proposes blocks built from your den's open requirements, with materials and a leader script. It is optional.
Browse plans other leaders have published, fork one into your own meeting, and share yours back with every Scout name, den and date scrubbed out.
